Radiators

New rads, fitted properly

Radiators are the bit of the heating system people put up with for far too long. A rad that never gets hot, one that's rusting through, or one sat in the daftest spot in the room because that's where the builder put it thirty years ago.

We fit new radiators, swap tired ones out, move them to suit how you actually use the room, and put in towel rails and vertical designer rads where space is tight. We'll size them properly for the room rather than guessing, fit thermostatic valves so you're not heating rooms nobody's in, and balance the system afterwards so every rad gets its share.

What we do

Radiator work we take on

Anything from a single swap to a full set through the house.

New radiator installation

New rads sized correctly for the room and fitted to the existing system, or run in new pipework where there's nothing there.

Radiator replacement

Old, rusting or leaking rads swapped out. We'll drain down, swap, refill and balance, usually in a morning.

Moving a radiator

Rad in the wrong place? We'll move it and re-run the pipework so it sits where you want the furniture, not where the plumber found it easiest.

Towel rails & vertical rads

Heated towel rails for bathrooms, and vertical designer rads for rooms where wall space is at a premium.

Thermostatic valves

TRVs fitted so each room can be set separately. One of the cheapest ways to knock money off a heating bill.

Balancing & cold rads

If one rad never gets going, it's often flow rather than the rad. We'll diagnose it before selling you a new one.

Common questions

Radiator Installation FAQs

What is a power flush?

It's a deep clean of your central heating, a machine pushes cleaning chemicals and water through the system at high flow to clear out sludge, rust and debris that build up over time.

How do I know if I need one?

Cold spots on radiators, some rads not heating, slow warm-ups, noisy pipes or a banging boiler, or dirty water when you bleed a radiator. All signs sludge has built up.

How long does a power flush take?

Most take the best part of a day, depending on the size of the system and how much build-up there is. We'll give you a timescale with your quote.

Will it help my heating bills?

Usually yes, a clean system heats up faster and runs more efficiently, so you're not paying to push heat through a clogged system.
